The tale of Fresh Ness is a feel good one. Not only because their unique range of reduced-fat muffins taste great, but because owner and baker Vanessa Clausen is a business woman success story. From humble beginnings filling orders in her Sydney home and delivering them by bus and taxi, Vanessa has expanded her business to the point where she now employs twenty other staff plus five distributors, and supplies around 120 clients with fresh and healthy sweet breads daily.
Still hand-made by Vanessa and her team (now from a commercial bake-house in Marrickville) the Fresh Ness range has continued to grow since its original launch fourteen years ago as the only reduced-fat muffin on the market. While the demand has also increased, the focus at Fresh Ness is still on providing fresh and wholesome baked goods with a healthy conscience.
